Rob, Founder and Head Numbers Geek
Our Director of Rate Intelligence is a crafty double agent — mortgage originator by day; consumer-driven mortgage spy by night. He’s got a Finance degree from the University of Michigan, 11 years of financial trading experience, 12 years in the mortgage biz and four Canadian Mortgage Awards under his belt.
When he’s not slinging mortgages, Rob McLister is writing about them for The Globe and Mail, Canadian Mortgage Trends, RATESDOTCA and of course, RateSpy.com. When free time comes around, you’ll find him aiming down an ICR-7 barrel in Call of Duty, plotting moves on a chess board or enduring another long Detroit Lion’s football season.
Steve, Manager of Smooth Operations and Intel Scribe
A graduate of Ryerson University’s School of Journalism, Steve Huebl caught the writing bug well before that at age 15 when he founded a neighbourhood newspaper that grew to 200 households and a dozen paid advertisers. He later honed his writing and editing talents with the pros at The Toronto Star, The Calgary Herald, the Sarnia Observer and Canadian Economic Press. Steve writes mortgage briefs weekly for RateSpy.com, as well as acting as Operations Manager and Associate Editor of Canadian Mortgage Trends.
Born and raised in Toronto, “il habite maintenant à Montréal.”
